Listed below are just 3 wedding invitation hints every couple should follow to make sure they deliver the perfect invitations:

1. Verify Your Wedding Day: Before you order your invitations or print them out, ensure that you have your wedding site and date supported, to avoid shifting all of the invitations.

2. RSVP: Ensure your guests may contact you by telephone, email, or post. Knowing your guests amounts can allow you to organize your wedding more clearly.

3. Print Thank You Cards: Not sending thank you cards to your guests for attending is a sweet gesture, but ordering them along with your wedding invitations will save you time and money.

After having a couple of months working on your own stationery, you probably feel like you know everything there is to know about these paper goods. But before you go to the post office to send your invitations out, there are a couple of significant thing that you want to take into account that may have never crossed your mind. So, without further ado, here are a few things to do to make the most of your mailing.

1. Tissue paper inserts aren’t only for good looks.

While placing tissue paper between the layers of your stationery package may increase your prices, in addition, it can help stop the ink from smudging. If you chose to use a darker colored ink onto your own invitations or you went with thermography, your cards could rub together as they make their way through the email. If it is not too late, add a little tissue paper to make sure your reasonably paper arrives in pristine shape.

2. Square invitations need more postage.

Due to the strange shape, square envelopes require more postage to mail. While this isn’t a massive monetary gap (about 20 cents per cent, depending on the size) you can certainly cut a few extra bucks by deciding on a normal ol’ rectangular envelope. If you’re looking for different ways to save your invitations, opt for an RSVP postcard rather than a traditional mail-in response card, as the price of a postcard is under a standard stamp.

3. Never lick on the adhesive to close your envelopes.

To avoid having one of your precious invites open en route, reinforce the closure method on your envelopes by using adhesive or some other super strong adhesive. Licking isn’t just hard in your mouth (the flavor! Paper cuts!) , it also does not ensure that the package will arrive in one piece. For a fairly touch, add a sticker or part of washi tape, however, don’t rely on these things as the most important closure approach. They can fall off or catch on other things during delivery.

4. Always take your cards within the post office.

For additional peace of mind (and also to avoid risking your invitations having to battle the components), never drop them off in a street-side mailbox. If you flip them to a person in the post office right, they are not as likely to get damaged in transit, and you’ll be able to ensure you’ve done everything correctly, from the stamp to the writing of the addresses. This is a particularly important step if you’re using classic stamps — they could be tricky!

5. Ask the post office to hand cancel your stamps.

Instead of allowing the post office conduct the invitations via a machine-operated sorting system (which marks the envelope with thick lines at the top right corner and might harm the envelope at the procedure) ,ask them to “hand cancel” your invitations. It follows that they will use a unique ink stamp to indicate your invitation, and they will type it by hand, reducing the risk of this damage. Whenever some post offices refuse to do this, most are elastic should you pop during a slow moment.
